Stable but will really move if you want it to and I can fly it in the yard when its quiet. Comes in a few versions and looks pretty durable to me. At $130 for BNF I think I’ll order one and see.

“Overview

Weighing in at under one ounce, the nimble Blade® mSR RTF takes ultra micro helicopter performance to the next level. It comes from the factory completely assembled and flight tested with everything you need to get flying. At the heart of the Blade mSR’s design is a Bell-Hiller rotor head that provides the kind of speed and agility you would expect of a single-rotor heli but maintains a measure of positive stability similar to a coaxial heli. This blend of agility and stability makes it the ideal “next step” for someone moving up from a coaxial heli, such as the Blade CX3 or Blade mCX.

For single-rotor ultra micro heli excitement you can fly almost anywhere, the Blade mSR simply can’t be beat.”

They don’t come any nicer than this one. From what I’ve seen and read the build quality is second to none. A great step up from 40 something wingspan planes that use a 3 cell because this one uses 2 three cell packs together. Get the full scoop at the Precision Aerobatics website. You can buy these at a few places but Chief Aircraft has them.

“After many requests from customers, PA is proud to release our 58” FiberFusion® Extra MX – Beyond the MAX!

In PA tradition, the design was approached from a fresh view point, asking our customers what would make this ship the best available in its class. The answer lies in the performance, which is a direct result of the design and the matching drive system.

Keeping the airframes light and rigid was always a target, but with the Extra MX PA has broken all records!

While the Extra MX features a larger wing area than most of the airframes available in this size category, it is at least 20oz lighter than its competitors and one of the robust models around.

Unlike other models in this category, we designed our Extra to be powered by 2200mah packs, so you don’t need to get a new charger or buy a battery that is dedicated to only one model in your hangar.”

The dream has been realized! You can now sit on the sofa and fly a heli in your living room. The claim has been made before but this time its true. Not only does this thing have all the controls that your big one does….it actually flys great! For $150 you get the whole package RTF including a 2.4 Ghz radio system, battery and charger. The heli flies really well and is basically crash proof as long as you get off the throttle before it goes in. I’ve hit everything including myself and the dog with it and not broken a single part (yet).

You can get these all over the place including ebay but if you live in Canada I suggest Ken at rcflightstore.com

They’re alot like chips really…can’t stop at just one. Rising to the top however are a few nice kits like the Beam E4. You can tell its well made just looking at it and from what the reviewers have to say I don’t think you’d be making a mistake buying one…or two.

If you’re like alot of us you have your eyes on one of these. Just like all the other T-Rex helis you can expect a well thought out, great flying helicopter with parts readily available. Putting one of these together can however be a difficult task if you are new to the game. The best thing you can do in my opinion is watch someone else put it together who knows what they’re doing. For a great set of build vids on this heli check out the Finless build series on the 700 over at HeliFreak.
